How terrible are the covers of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit?" So terrible that The Muppets' barbershop quartet rendition is legitimately leading for the honor of "best cover" by three votes. They're so terrible that I didn't even dare include the worst of what I found (I've got a dozen worse versions than what's on the list, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ). The covers are so bad that the Weird Al spoof in the comments has nearly as many recommendations as the poll has votes. Abigal, who I'm convinced is either from Germany or Latin America and has no idea how a guitar works, currently leads in the battle for worst by two votes over practically everyone (there's a four-way tie for second). If your ears have acted badly and they need to be punished then come give a listen and cast your vote.
